Lunda's Hedda

Born in 2019, Hedda is a youthful, social, and delightfully playful donkey mare with a quick wit and a twinkle in her eye. This clever girl is our resident "Houdini" and a master escape artist – if a fence board is even slightly too high, she gracefully slips underneath it, leaving everyone standing by an untouched fence wondering how she did it again! Hedda is deeply devoted to her mother, Lea, and always seeks out her safe, familiar presence.

On our tours, Hedda makes the perfect adventure companion for nature walks and led treks. Pulling carts or sleighs isn't her style, so in line with our ethical values, we always honor her preferences – she is happiest strolling through nature alongside our guests. On trek days, her playful personality shines: sometimes she eagerly leads the group at the front, while other times she prefers to amble peacefully at the back.

Her absolute favorite things? A satisfying roll in the sand and, of course, any delicious treat she can get!

Lady Lea

Born in 2014, Lady Lea is an Irish-born mare with a gentle, soulful expression – like a wise old soul with long donkey ears. Although she was shy and cautious when she first arrived, she has completely blossomed into the heartwarming center of our farm and the ultimate cuddle bug. Today, Lea greets familiar visitors right from the paddock fence and is always the first to inspect the day's stable activities. As the quiet leader of our herd, she patiently lets young Hedda take center stage, but calmly steps in whenever it's time for peace and order.

Lea is an exceptionally versatile and hardworking donkey who genuinely loves having a task to do. Her absolute passion is driving carts and winter sleighs, though she also shines at events, and special celebrations. On nature treks, Lea is a lively and brisk walker who loves a confident guide – especially on the trail back home when she's eager for her barn return! Sensational and expressive, Lea communicates her mood clearly through her adorable facial expressions. After a day's work, she loves nothing more than delicious food, and spirited victory laps around our indoor arena!
